Shaffer Building Co. delivered a complete MRI suite build-out for Los Robles Regional Medical Center, a $1.6M project designed by HKS Architects. The scope included framing, drywall, and concrete work to construct a purpose-built room capable of housing a new GE SIGNA MRI system, requiring precise RF shielding installation, structural reinforcement, and careful coordination to move the massive unit into place through the building exterior. From rough framing and copper shielding to final finishes, the project transformed raw hospital space into a fully operational diagnostic imaging suite.
